FinisTerra was created from a personal connection with Portugal’s Atlantic coast and a belief that meaningful experiences begin with a genuine sense of place.
Its founder, Vitor Roque, has more than three decades of international experience shaped by dance, fashion, VIP aviation and boutique hospitality. His professional journey began as a dancer, developing the discipline, creative awareness and sensitivity to movement and presentation that would continue throughout his career.
He later worked in international fashion as a booker and talent agent in cities including Paris, Berlin, Lisbon, São Paulo and Miami. This was followed by twelve years in VIP aviation, where discretion, protocol, flexibility and attention to detail were fundamental to every journey. More recently, his work in boutique hospitality and guest relations in the Alentejo has deepened his understanding of personal service and the region he now calls home.
Born in Spain and raised in Portugal, Vitor has followed an international journey taking him to many countries, including Portugal, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Brazil, the United States, the United Kingdom, Lithuania and Italy. This experience gives him a natural understanding of different cultures and the expectations of international clients.
He communicates fluently in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and Italian, with working knowledge of German and Dutch. This international and professional experience shapes FinisTerra’s approach: attentive, calm and personal, with a clear understanding of what it means to welcome people far from home.
From its base on Portugal’s Alentejo Coast, FinisTerra creates destination weddings, private celebrations, corporate retreats and location scouting experiences in collaboration with carefully selected local partners.
